Hi! I am Prashant Singh and this is my website :) Wondering about the weird name of blog. I am not going to disclose everything about it, but I can let you in on something. I am a big fan of how name Lord Voldermort came to be.
Of all things, I am a Python developer who knows a bit of SQL, Kubernetes and ReactJS. Apart from that, you might find me hacking on Rust, Elixir and Go. Not bragging but I have successfully ran Kubernetes in production. Instead of gaining experience, I have acquired a French press.
Do I work?
Professionally, I am working as a Backend Engineer at Certa. There I am usually building something out of Python, Django and Postgres.
Personally, I ❤️ Rust and Kubernetes. Although you can get me hooked on anything easily. I love to experiment and build with code. You can check out my projects here. I have few realizations over the last few months. I think I hate OOP, so much that I spend my time now finding out why and Django is turning out to be a good playground for this. And yeah, I have decided to devote some hours every week to understand how databases work.
And yeah, I prefer nano over vim and SublimeText over VS Code.What to expect?
I am still going through ideas on how to proceed with the development of the site as a whole. 🤔
Inspite of that, you can expect this to be a culmination of random facts and ideas 💡. I might call out some people, but don't worry everything will be in good faith. Sharing experiences with others sounds like a fun idea. I can allow others people to post here as well, that would be fun too.
💭 But, should I limit myself to that? Ah, I am not sure of anything now either, so just stay tuned.
